Job Title: Science Teacher (Long Term)

Job Duties:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging science lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Assess and record students' progress, providing feedback to support their learning
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student participation and achievement
* Collaborate with colleagues to share best practises and contribute to the overall success of the science department
* Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events as required
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Degree in Science or related field
* Knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements
* Strong classroom management skills
Education:
* Degree in Science or related field
* Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent
Experience:
* Experience teaching science at the secondary level
* Demonstrated success in improving student attainment and progress
Knowledge and Skills:
* Excellent subject knowledge in science disciplines
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
* Proficient in using educational technology to enhance teaching and learning
Preferred Qualifications:
* Additional training or qualifications in teaching and learning
* Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN)
