Description
Key responsibilities:
* Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on industrial equipment and machinery.
* Diagnose and repair faults promptly to minimise downtime.
* Collaborate with the production team to ensure machinery operates at optimal efficiency.
* Conduct regular inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards.
* Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs.
* Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery when required.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions.
* Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and ready for use.
Profile
A successful Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer should have:
* Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in a manufacturing environment.
* Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults.
* Experience working with industrial machinery and equipment.
* Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related field.
* Ability to work effectively within a team and independently when required.
* Commitment to adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
