Our Client, a Greater Manchester Council, is seeking an Adult's Assistant Team Manager to join their Mental Health Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
* Support the Team Manager in the day-to-day operational leadership of the Mental Health Team
* Supervise, mentor, and support Social Workers and Social Care staff
* Manage and oversee complex mental health and safeguarding cases
* Ensure high-quality, strengths-based practice in line with the Care Act and Mental Health Act
* Support effective care planning, reviews, and risk management
* Chair case discussions, professionals’ meetings, and best-interest decision-making
* Quality-assure assessments, reports, and statutory documentation
* Work closely with health partners within integrated mental health services
* Support service performance, workload management, and practice improvement
* Deputise for the Team Manager as required
Requirements of this role:
* Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
* Must have minimum of 3 year's post qualifying experience.
