Are you an enthusiastic Maths Teacher looking for an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students who require a more personalised and supportive learning environment? A supportive Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Newham is seeking a passionate Maths Teacher to join their dedicated team in April 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach a small group of students and help them build their confidence and skills in Maths.

Your Role as a Maths Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons tailored to the individual needs of students.
Provide one-on-one and small-group support to help students build confidence and achieve in Maths.
Create personalised learning plans that focus on students' strengths and areas for development.
Encourage a growth mindset in students, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
Collaborate with colleagues, SENCOs, and external agencies to ensure students receive the support they need.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
Who We're Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in teaching Maths.
Passion for working with vulnerable students and helping them achieve in their education.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with students, parents, and colleagues.
Creative and adaptable teaching approach to engage students with varying learning needs.
Experience in working with students with SEMH, additional needs, or challenging behaviours is desirable.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
