Are you a highly motivated individual who enjoys organising and planning? The Medical Directorate (Acute) and Practice Education team are looking for an administration coordinator. This post holder will be responsible for coordinating induction programmes for junior doctors and medical students, liaising with local stakeholders and university partners to ensure all training requirements are met. The post holder will report to the Medical Directorate Business Manager and will be supported by the Medical and Practice Education teams, becoming an integral part of the organisation.
* Coordinate induction programmes for junior doctors and medical students.
* Coordinate training requirements with local stakeholders and university partners.
* Manage room bookings for the clinical training department.
* Assist with organising and recording medical teaching sessions.
* Act as the first point of contact for all medical students prior to arrival.
Applicants must hold an Administration qualification or have sufficient alternative admin experience. Strong communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to work autonomously are essential.
Within 3 months of commencing your role, you will be expected to comply with the Induction Standards and Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers.
Preferred candidates will be required to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme or undergo an update prior to a formal offer of employment being made.
