The Role:As a Cover Supervisor, you'll step into the classroom to deliver pre-set work in the absence of the regular teacher. You'll help keep students engaged, focused, and motivated while ensuring a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities Include:* Supervising whole classes during teacher absences* Delivering pre-planned lessons and instructions* Managing classroom behaviour effectively* Supporting students to stay on task* Reporting back to teaching staff on lesson progress* Creating a positive and professional classroom atmosphere
Requirements:* Experience working with young people (school-based or transferable experience)* Strong communication and classroom management skills* Confidence leading a classroom independently* Flexibility, reliability, and a positive attitude* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)* Right to work in the UK
