?Home Care Worker - Angus Area (Temp-to-Perm)

We are currently recruiting Home Care Workers to join a growing care team and deliver person-centred care to individuals in their own homes. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a wide range of needs while promoting independence and dignity for service usersAbout the Role This is initially a temporary role with strong potential to become permanent for the right candidate. You will provide single visits for one-to-one support, double-up visits for more complex mobility needs, and sitting services for companionship and respiteYour key duties will include:Providing personal care, such as washing, dressing, and groomingAssisting with meals, hydration, and medication supportSupporting mobility and safe transfersPerforming light household duties and providing emotional support and companionshipTravelling between service users' homesLocation and Hours: You will support service users across the Angus area, including Arbroath, Montrose, Brechin, Letham, Forfar, Edzell, and surrounding locationsWe offer 40 hours per week with flexible shift patterns. Shifts include early runs (06:00 - 15:15, with some 07:30 starts) and late runs (15:15 - 22:45), with double shifts also available. Runs typically last 6-8 hours and cover morning, lunch, tea, and bedtime visitsPay & BenefitsTemporary/Agency Rates: £18 umbrella per hour on weekdays and £19 umbrella per hour on weekendsPermanent Pay (upon transfer): Starting from £13.65 per hourRequirements To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:Driving: A full UK driving licence is strictly essential, and access to your own vehicle?.Experience: Previous care experience, particularly in care-at-home, is desirableTraits: You must have a compassionate, reliable, and professional approach, with the ability to work flexible shiftsStart Date & Applications: We are looking for candidates who can ideally start within 2 weeks, though we can be flexible depending on your availability and notice period
