We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team in Scarborough, United Kingdom. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality food service and maintaining a clean, efficient kitchen environment.
* Assist in the preparation of delicious meals, snacks, and beverages
* Prepare Salads
* Serve food to customers in a friendly and professional manner
* Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, counter, and dining areas
* Adhere to all health and safety standards and food safety procedures
* Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations
* Assist with food inventory management and stock rotation
* Operate kitchen equipment and utensils safely and efficiently
* Contribute to menu planning and suggest improvements when appropriate
* Provide excellent customer service and address any customer inquiries or concerns
* Participate in regular training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge
Strong salad preparation skills and attention to detail
* Knowledge of health and safety standards in food service
* Excellent cleaning and hygiene practices
* Outstanding customer service skills
* Physical stamina to stand and move for extended periods
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and tasks
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* Previous experience in food service or catering is preferred
* Food safety certification is a plus
* High school diploma or equivalent
