Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in various welding techniques, particularly MIG and TIG welding, and possess a strong understanding of fabrication processes. This role involves working with sheet metal and using hand and power tools to assemble components according to specifications. The successful applicant will demonstrate mechanical knowledge and basic mathematical skills to ensure precision in their work.
Duties
* Perform MIG, TIG welding and other welding techniques as required for fabrication trailer chassis and custom projects .
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to cut, shape, and assemble materials.
* Interpret technical drawings and specifications to fabricate components accurately.
* Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure adherence to standards.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while ensuring high-quality workmanship.
Skills
* Proficient in MIG & TIG welding and other relevant welding methods.
* Experience with fabrication processes, particularly involving steel sheet metal.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
* Competent in the use of hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks.
* Basic mathematical skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately.
