The Wings CE Trust is the employer for this position, not Wigan Council. The Wings’ CE Trust, Leigh CE Primary School, Henrietta Street, Leigh, WN7 1LP. Salary: Grade 3, £16,811 - £17,344 per annum (£12.85 - £13.26 per hour). 30 hours per week, term time working 38 weeks per year. Temporary until August 2026. Required to start as soon as satisfactory references and checks are complete.
Based at Leigh CE Primary School, Henrietta Street, Leigh, WN7 1LP. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated TA Level 2 with Early Years experience to join the reception class. The role focuses on nurturing and developing the potential of all young children in our care, providing high-quality childcare and early childhood education, and meeting each child’s individual needs in a safe and stimulating environment.
Responsibilities
* Be flexible and open to new ideas.
* Be a team player.
* Fully support the ethos and aims of the school.
* Be able to adapt and respond appropriately to challenging situations.
* Ensure the wellbeing of the children is always maintained.
* Follow and understand the EYFS framework.
* Experience of working with children of relevant age in a learning environment and with pupils with additional social and emotional needs.
