Key Responsibilities:
The purpose of the role is to drive distribution and volume of the Kingfisher Drinks portfolio within the Off Trade, Cash & Carry Export & Specialist Wholesale Channels. Balance will be needed to manage and grow existing customer base whilst also targeting new business opportunities. Full responsibility will be given for P&L with key aim to delivery growth vs budget plan, networking, building strong relationships with customers and driving business through strong commercial and negotiation skills and excellent understanding of industry.
* Deliver new business with retailers and distributors of Kingfisher Drinks portfolio of brands.
* Manage P&L of existing customers, build growth plans and delivery of JBP’s.
* Negotiate effectively to ensure optimum revenue, profit, and profile (new listings, customer activation, promotional support).
* Report into and liaise on a regular basis with the Channel Controller.
* Effective networking and regularly meetings with customers to unlock opportunities.
* Vibrant, flexible, and proactive work environment.
* True ability to manage and develop relationships within identified sales channels
* Create your own strategy for delivery against company objectives.
Key Criteria:
* Strong understanding of the alcoholic drink’s category/trends particularly BWS.
* Track record of delivering distribution, volume, and profit growth.
* Commercial acumen.
* Ability to build a strong network within internal and external stakeholders.
* Established contact network across the Cash & Carry Channel is desirable.
* Self-motivated with the desire to deliver and win.
* Excellent verbal communication and influencing skills.
* Hands on team member who works with pace and urgency.
* Budget and P&L management.
* Significant sales experience within the Drinks/FMCG sector.
* Proven evidence of winning significant new business and managing accounts
* PC literate including all key Microsoft Office applications.
* Educated to degree level (desired) / A-Level essential
* Strong negotiation, organisation and influencing skills to drive commercial success.
* Self-motivated with a desire to deliver results and make a difference.
