About The Role
This is a full-time Night Manager role working night shifts from 8pm – 8am for 38.5 hours per week. Full flexibility is required.
Location: Woodthorpe Lodge, Loughborough LE11 2ER
Responsibilities
* Take responsibility for a specific part of the home and deliver the very best level of care.
* Run the home when the Home Manager and Deputy Home Manager are absent.
* Ensure resident dignity and wellbeing in all interactions, including reporting mobility issues, requesting samples for monitoring, and administering medicines as needed.
* Communicate with residents and co-workers in a considerate and kind manner.
* Safeguarding: recognise signs of potential abuse, harm or neglect and know what to do if concerns arise; attend safeguarding training and undertake additional training as required; seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
Qualifications and Skills
* Proven leadership skills in a care home for vulnerable adults.
* Positive energy, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to take real accountability.
* Commitment to safeguarding and resident-centred care.
