Female Personal Assistant required to support a young lady in the Chester-le-Street area who has Autism, Learning Disabilities and complex needs. Rate of Pay - £13.00 per hour. Hours – 104hrs to be used flexibly over 4 weeks and 1 x 24/48 hr overnight (times and days to be negotiated).
PA will be required to help the lady with the following:
* Accessing the community and activities of interest (including college, art, animals, music etc.)
* Graded exposure in the community and building confidence using planning and social stories.
* Independent living skills.
* Administering medication and ordering medication.
* Support with family appointments.
Graded exposure training will be provided by Occupational Therapist. Essential – Experience and understanding of Autism, Learning Disabilities and mental health conditions. Long term position.
Driving Licence and access to a car. A DBS will be required, employer will cover the cost.
