Parklands is a purpose built 54 bed Nursing Home, in South Benfleet. We offer 24 hour quality nursing care for older people and those with physical disabilities.
Parklands is situated in a quiet residential area. Shops, public transport facilities, a library and places of worship are all close by. Benfleet Rail Station is less than a mile away.
We are looking for Care Assistants to join our existing team. We are looking for Full Time Night Carers. Experience is preferred but not essential as full training is given.
The shift patterns will be:
-7pm-7am
The role requires you to work alternate weekends and some bank holidays across the year.
Job responsibilities:
-To undertake personal care needs of residents.
-Assist residents with dressing, undressing, bathing and toileting.
-Serve meal and assist at meal times.
-Read and write reports in daily notes.
-Report all accidents and complaints to staff in charge.
-To ensure that a comfortable and clean environment is maintained in the home.
Essential Requirements:
-A desire to help others
-Adaptable caring and open minded.
-Good communicator ability to understand and respond to verbal/ nonverbal communications.
-Numerate, literate, Effective team worker.
