Learning & Development Lead - Interim
First Bus London are looking for a Learning & Development Lead to help shape the future of our team. Having recently been acquired by First Group, this is the perfect time to look anew at our development and training, ensuring our team’s personal growth and the growth of the business over our next chapter.
This will include, skill mapping, gap analysis, identification of excellence within each role, the build and development of internal courses and potentially partnering with external training suppliers.
To accomplish this, you already realise this is not a desk role, but a role that gets out into all areas of the business. Collaborating with senior leaders, making that connection face to face is essential, to ensure you know how each team fits with another to deliver a successful business.
The person
To be successful in this role, you will have;
* An extremely strong skillset in needs analysis, delivery and evaluation, leadership capability evaluation and design.
* Proven experience within transport or a similar blue-collar environment
* Ability to identify and lead digital transformation initiatives
* Excellent project management experience
* Ability to travel to other sites as and when needed
* The knowledge to translate business objectives into designing training programmes.
* Ability to balance multiple projects, tailoring approaches for the individual
