This opportunity is full-time, offers full benefits, and a convenient nightshift (6:30pm-7:00am) schedule and rotates every other weekend and holiday.
Part-Time and PRN available: some benefits and sign-on bonus excluded.
There is opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested.

Roxbury Treatment Center, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc., has been a beacon of hope and healing for over 35 years, serving those struggling with behavioral health and substance use issues. Located in Shippensburg, PA, our 112-bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. We also have two substance use disorder outpatient offices in Carlisle and Chambersburg. LPN Role/Responsibilities
* The Licensed Practical Nurse provides professional nursing care on a designated unit in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Roxbury Treatment Center.
* The Licensed Practical Nurse is accountable for assigned nursing care activities on a shift basis and is responsible for promoting and enhancing professional nursing practice on the unit under the direction of the Nurse Manager or DON.
* Monitors and documents patient condition and interventions provided reporting finding to the unit Charge Nurse/RN.
* Monitors Nursing and Clinical Care plans and participates in Treatment Team meetings as necessary.
* Provides supportive counseling and patient education.
* The Licensed Practical Nurse facilitates medication administration activities in accordance with safe medication practices, including patient education.
* The Licensed Practical Nurse responds to all crisis/emergency events to direct staff and ensure patient safety.

Qualifications
LPN Job Requirements
* Graduate of an accredited licensed practical nursing program
* One year prior experience in D&A and/or mental health nursing preferred but not required
* Licensure and registration by the Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners as a licensed practical nurse.
