Mechanical Energy Centre Technician
Location: Nottingham
Contract: Permanent
Shift Pattern: Full Time, standard hours are Monday to Friday, with overtime available including weekend work

What you'll be doing
* Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities within the D200 Energy Centre and Boots Beeston site.
* Making informed decisions to ensure the safe and efficient supply of utilities.
* Providing support and guidance to fellow team members.
* Responding promptly to abnormal or emergency situations to minimise disruptions.
* Participating in the development of standard operating procedures and safe systems of work.
What you'll need to have (our must-haves)
* A time-served Engineering apprenticeship.
* Significant mechanical experience.
* Understanding of industrial processes and steam systems.
* Knowledge of Health & Safety obligations in an engineering environment.
* A full valid UK driving licence.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* A positive 'can do' attitude, whether working independently or as part of a team.
It would be great if you also have
* Experience in fault finding and repair of industrial equipment.
* Familiarity with computer systems relevant to engineering tasks.
* Flexibility to work out of hours and shifts as required.
