ABOUT THE ROLE
The company are looking for a Senior Engineer to work on civil engineering infrastructure projects in the North West. The successful candidate will be expected to operate and promote a high standard of health and safety by ensuring Method Statements and Risk Assessments are in place for all aspects of the works. You’ll have to check engineering drawings/specifications, identifying and resolving design conflicts.
You will be working on Power and Energy projects where the work will include battery storage facilities and substations. There will also be Civils Projects where works will include Water treatment Civils upgrades, minor roads, junctions and enabling works for developments.
Other projects that you’ll be involved in will range from infrastructure, bridge infrastructure, concrete structures, land drainage, internal drainage, flood banks, deep drainage and major earthwork projects.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Ideally the successful candidate would need at least 3 years experience as a site engineer in a civil engineering environment working on similar projects. You will be degree qualified as an engineer and will have worked your way up to a Senior Engineer level and will be ready to step straight into that role.
You will need to have the following:
2. CSCS Card
3. HNC (or other) Engineering qualification
4. Setting out experience in kerbing and road construction
5. Setting out experience in drainage and manhole construction
6. Proficient use of setting out equipment
7. Use of Autocade
8. Can interpret construction drawings
9. Experience in quality assurance
You will have excellent stability on your cv and will have significant UK experience.
