Minimum qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
* 1 year of experience in the design industry.
* Experience with design systems and industry best practices, including designing with systems across surfaces and form factors.
Preferred qualifications:
* Experience in industry-standard UI-design software and formats, especially Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, including prepping and optimizing design artifacts for engineering.
* Knowledge of graphic design principles and user-centered design methodologies, to evaluate and enhance the execution, craft, longevity, and scalability of designs with proficient aesthetic sensibilities.
* Effective communication skills, proactive in soliciting and addressing feedback, and able to work across EMEA and US timezones.
* Ability to craft compelling presentations with appropriate templates and narratives to influence and inspire stakeholders for buy-in.

The Health Platforms and Devices team develops products that promote longer, healthier lives by integrating Google technologies, AI, health science, and user-centered design. Our suite of apps, services, and wearables aims to personalize, proactively support, and make health data actionable for users.
Responsibilities
* Develop cross-surface and cross-device design standards and visual language for Health experiences, informed by user insights and design principles.
* Create diverse design solutions from concept to implementation that reflect Health’s brand voice and tone.
* Document detailed design system usage, from specifications to accessibility considerations, in collaboration with internal teams and external agencies.
* Build and sustain collaborative relationships across teams and timezones, ensuring effective communication throughout product development.
* Contribute to and foster team culture and community within Google’s visual design environment.
