The Role:
* Were looking for an experienced and proactive Purchasing Manager to lead and develop our procurement function.
* This is a hands-on leadership role where youll manage a small team of Buyers, take ownership of supplier relationships, and ensure the business secures the best possible value across all categories.
* The role is office-based in Daventry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead, develop, and continuously improve purchasing and procurement processes.
2. Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal results on cost, quality, and delivery performance.
3. Monitor, analyse, and forecast material and product demand to ensure consistent supply and efficient stock levels.
4. Review spend data to identify cost-saving and process improvement opportunities.
5. Build and maintain strong supplier partnerships, ensuring long-term value and minimising supply chain risk.
6. Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and implement improvement plans where necessary.
