Are you ready to be part of the most significant opportunity unfolding right at your doorstep? Bid farewell to extensive travel and contract work as we invite you to join the groundbreaking developments in the field. Whether you seek a stable future or have a passion for Green Energy, this is your chance.
Why us? We will be the biggest XXXL Monopile factory in the world servicing the offshore wind industry with several secured projects commencing in 2025.
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Electrical Supervisor to join our team. This is a key role responsible for ensuring that Maintenance and Facilities shift personnel are aligned with daily and weekly planned, reactive, and major maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in Permit to Work (PTW) systems and possess strong supervisory experience with both on-site personnel and contractors. You will be expected to train and instruct team members, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and act as a main point of contact to support production teams during breakdowns.
The role involves the organisation and oversight of all maintenance, servicing, and repairs across the site, with a focus on electrical systems. A wide range of electrical knowledge is essential, including experience with PLCs, High Voltage (SO4) systems, and the maintenance and repair of overhead and jib cranes. Candidates should be capable of diagnosing faults across various electrical control and drive systems and must bring proven experience from a heavy industrial environment.
This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on continuous improvement, reliability, and process optimisation. You will be expected to attend meetings regularly with various stakeholders to communicate shift activities and collaborate effectively across departments such as Procurement, Production, and Supply Chain. Duties include working closely with the shift teams to ensure the smooth operation of equipment, collaborating with planners to complete PPMs and gather ERP data, coordinating contractor activities, and scheduling essential repairs.
In addition, you will help develop training programs for the shift team, prepare preventive maintenance schedules aligned with company goals, support resource planning, and contribute to the management of critical spare parts. You will also play a central role in upholding the highest standards of health and safety and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and workplace expectations.
The successful candidate will ideally hold a minimum HNC in Electrical Engineering or bring electrical engineering experience within a heavy industry setting. You should have a strong working knowledge of computerised maintenance systems, as well as a demonstrable track record in driving continuous improvement initiatives. Expertise in machinery drives, gas cutting equipment, milling machines, roll benders, and moving machinery such as transfer cars and roller tables is essential. You should also be experienced in the full strip-down, repair, and recommissioning of large machinery and crane systems.
This role requires someone with a meticulous eye for detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively. A sound understanding of occupational safety requirements is vital, along with strong computer literacy, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
If you are ready to play a critical part in our operations and help drive equipment reliability and performance, we would love to hear from you.
