We have an excellent part-time opportunity within the General & Specialist Medicine Care Group at The William Harvey Hospital, Ashford.
We are looking for a person who has some previous experience of working in an acute fast-paced environment, but we also encourage applications from Senior Nurses or those from other healthcare environments.
To provide effective patient care whilst working as a member of the nursing team across East Kent Hospitals NHS Trust. To ensure the maintenance of high standards of patient care in response to service needs.
By working clinically as a member of the nursing team you will work in partnership with the Ward Manager to provide clinical, professional, and managerial leadership for a ward-based team of qualified and non-qualified staff. The post holder will be required to deputize in the absence of the Ward Manager and ensure a positive patient experience through the delivery of high standards of patient care, leading clinical nursing practice within the clinical area.
Securing and assuring the highest standards of clinical care with the support of the Matron and Head of Nursing, and the effective management of clinical and non-clinical risk reporting to the Manager within the Directorate Clinical Governance Framework.
