Based in Oxfordshire, you will lead complex technical projects across the full lifecycle, driving cross‑functional collaboration between engineering, operations, and senior stakeholders. This role requires genuine technical credibility to hold your own with PhDs, scientists, and engineering specialists.

What You'll Be Doing
* Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical projects from inception through completion, serving as the central point of accountability.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
* Coordinate cross‑functional teams and resolve resource conflicts.
What We're Looking For
* Degree in Engineering, Physics, Material Science, Chemistry, Nanotechnology or related technical discipline.
* Proven track record managing complex technical projects in engineering, R&D or manufacturing environments.
* Experience across diverse organisational sizes – enterprise, SME, startup or scale‑up.
* Senior‑level project management certifications (PRINCE2 Practitioner, MSP, APM or similar).
* Strong understanding of both hardware and software development lifecycles.
* Expertise in project/programme management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
* Ability to confidently discuss and understand software engineering concepts – managing algorithm‑heavy, complex software projects.
