We are proud to be working with a number of fantastic Secondary Schools across Tunbridge Wells, and we are actively recruiting for Cover Supervisors to support them with quality and consistent staff. Cover Supervisors play a vital role in schools keeping lessons on track and ensuring students remain engaged in their learning. This is a brilliant opportunity to gain classroom experience, develop new skills, and make a real difference.
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher
* Manage behaviour and ensure students remain focused and engaged
* Support students in their learning and encourage participation
* Provide feedback to teaching staff where necessary
* Work flexibly across different subjects and year groups (KS3 & KS4)
* Create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
* CACHE Level 2/3 or at least 6 months classroom-based experience
* Confidence in managing a classroom of students aged
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage young learners
* Flexibility to work across departments and adapt to different school settings
