Position: Science Teacher
Location: Redditch
Salary: >£44k
Role: Permanent, full time or part time candidates considered
Mayfield Recruitment are currently looking for a Science Teacher in the Redditch area on a permanent basis. The position the Science Teacher will need a clear understanding of inclusive teaching as well as being able to address diverse needs within the class including children with SEND and Educational and Class Room trauma.
Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons from small groups to 1:1 groups
* Work with children in a home-from-home setting from key stages 2-5 as well as GCSE up to A Level
* Assess and track progress, providing feedback to support ongoing development
* Have experience working with children and young people with anxiety, autism or sensory needs
* Be able to provide most of the GCSE and A Level learning via online learning; some full curriculum delivery may be required depending on the student
Requirements
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Strong behaviour management strategies and a calm, consistent approach to classroom routines
* Ability to make learning fun, engaging, and challenging for all learners
* Shares fresh ideas and collaborates with colleagues
* Values every member of the school community and contributes positively to a team culture
