The Role
As Head of Finance, you will:
Take full ownership of financial control, planning and forecasting
Deliver monthly management accounts, P&L, balance sheet and cash-flow reporting
Lead budgeting, forecasting and strategic financial planning
Ensure compliance across taxation, statutory reporting and Companies House filings
Manage external audit and liaise with auditors where required
Set up and own financial policies, controls and systems
Provide insightful analysis and financial guidance to the executive team
Potentially oversee a small finance team or external support resource
About You
Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
Significant experience in senior finance roles - ideally Head of Finance, Finance Director or equivalent
Proven financial leadership in a SME, tech or services-based business
Strong systems background: experience implementing or managing financial systems
Commercial, strategic thinker with excellent communication and stakeholder skills
Able to work autonomously and drive finance transformation
