This is an exciting time to join the Staffordshire Research School as we deliver the EEF’s Research School Strategy and look to build on our strong reputation across the West Midlands and beyond, supporting school leaders and teachers to translate research and evidence into effective practices and learning experiences for children. The successful candidate will be: •Supportive of the Education Endowment Foundation’s (EEF) mission and competent in scaling up work and collaborating with other Research Schools and external education partners regionally and nationally. •knowledgeable about the recent educational research and evidence and actively uses this to improve their own practices, and colleagues that they work with. •Able to work with the Research School Director to help schools to better understand the role evidence can play in school improvement. •A strong and efficient communicator to support schools to engage with evidence-informed approaches for high-quality teaching and learning. •Confident and competent in analysing performance data to understand and establish needs related to Teaching & Learning and wider school challenges. •Experienced at designing and delivering training programmes to support teachers and leaders bring evidence to life in a variety of school settings and contexts.
