Responsibilities
1. Assist in the preparation and submission of planning applications
2. Conduct planning research and site feasibility assessments
3. Support the creation of plans and visual materials using GIS and CAD software
4. Review and assess sites for wind, solar PV, and battery storage feasibility
5. Identify and evaluate potential development sites across the UK
Requirements
6. Degree in Planning, Renewable Energy, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
7. Experience using ArcGIS and AutoCAD
8. Strong analytical, methodical, and process-driven approach
9. Excellent communication and organisational skills
10. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Desirable
11. Knowledge of the renewable energy sector, particularly wind energy
12. Working towards or holding membership with a relevant professional body (e.g., RTPI or IEMA)
13. Full UK driving licence
