Candidates must be registered public health specialists, and able to demonstrate high levels of competence in the ten criteria stipulated by the Faculty of Public Health. As well as an excellent technical skillset, you will bring a wealth of practical knowledge and insight into how we can optimise and integrate our services to make life better for residents. Its essential that you understand the significance of being a visible, influential leader of place, and that you can make an immediate and valuable contribution to the wider responsibilities of the Councils senior leadership team. Extensive experience in a comparable role would be a definite advantage, as would a good grasp of how to work effectively with system partners across an extensive geography.
