Fit Out UK is a leading interior fit-out specialist delivering high-quality, sustainable projects for major banking clients. We are seeking an experienced Design Planner to join our Banking Design team, producing coordinated architectural design information using AutoCAD and Revit across branch refurbishments and fit-outs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver architectural design layouts, drawings, and models from concept through to construction and handover.
* Coordinate design information with MEP, structural, and specialist trades.
* Ensure full compliance with Building Regulations, British Standards, and the Building Safety Act 2022.
* Support clash detection, value engineering, RFIs, and the “Golden Thread” of information.
* Work within a highly governed banking environment, including live and occupied sites.
Essential Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Designer or Design Planner on commercial fit-out or refurbishment projects.
* Strong skills in AutoCAD and Revit.
* Good knowledge of Building Regulations and design coordination.
* Ability to work in structured governance and multi-disciplinary teams.
Desirable:
* Experience in banking, financial services, or highly regulated environments.
* Background with live/occupied building projects or Tier 1 fit-out contractors.
