About the role
We are seeking an Analyst to join Ocado Retail. The role provides data, analysis, reporting, and decision-making support to stakeholders across Logistics to optimise operational efficiency and drive business performance.
Responsibilities
* Using analytical skills to extract, interpret, and visualise data to support decision-making.
* Consolidating data from multiple sources across Logistics, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
* Identifying trends and conducting root cause analysis to improve key performance indicators.
* Collaborating with teams across Logistics, Finance, and Technology on strategic projects.
* Ensuring compliance with best-practice data security in all tasks.
Requirements
* Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
* Technical proficiency in SQL, VBA, or other relevant languages.
* Experience using and building BI tools to create insightful reports.
* Ability to collaborate with different departments and stakeholders.
* Strong communication skills to present findings clearly.
In the interview, we would like you to
* Deliver insight-driven analysis that provides real business value.
* Explain the why behind the data and its impact on decision-making.
* Use data storytelling techniques, such as STAR, to communicate insights effectively.
Interview process
* Intro (30 mins) Phone/Google Meet with Lead Recruiter.
* Case study task for shortlisted candidates.
* One or two interview stages focusing on scenario-based, behavioural, and experience-related questions, plus discussion of case study performance.
