Description
* Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records and reports.
* Support the reconciliation of accounts and resolve discrepancies.
* Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
* Help with the preparation of monthly and year-end financial statements.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
* Provide support during audits and assist in implementing recommendations.
* Collaborate with other team members to improve financial processes.
* Support with Payroll (end to end) when required.
* Handle general administrative tasks within the Accounting & Finance department.
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
* Previous experience in a similar role within Accounting & Finance.
* Experience and knowledge of Payroll.
* Strong knowledge of financial processes and accounting principles.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
* The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
