Commercial Gas Engineer required for our client, a Commercial Heating Contractor based in Leeds. They specialise in industrial and commercial gas, mechanical, and electrical services, offering a full suite of plant room re‑fit, service, and repair works. The Commercial Gas Engineer will travel throughout the North West and will attend commercial breakdown, repair and service work.
Key Responsibilities
* Service, repair, and maintain gas appliances and systems in commercial properties such as supermarkets, offices, hotels, apartment blocks, sports stadiums, and universities.
* Identify and diagnose problems with gas appliances and systems.
* Replace or repair gas appliances and systems as needed.
* Perform regular maintenance on gas appliances and systems to ensure they are operating safely and efficiently.
* Assist with installation projects.
* Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
Requirements
* NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in plumbing and heating.
* ACS Commercial Gas Tickets.
* Based in the North West.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
Remuneration
* Salary £44,000 - £49,000.
* Travel pay – after 15 minutes.
* Overtime available.
* Call‑out pay: one call in 7‑8 for standby (£180).
* Company van provided.
