Test Analyst Contract
We’re looking for a Test Analyst Contract to join our IT team in Milton Keynes. You will work with the IT Solutions & Development team, Business Analysts and end users to ensure the criteria of testing are fulfilled according to the Development Methodology and Test Strategy.
This is a hybrid role with one day a week in our Milton Keynes office.
The IT Solutions & Development team develops and maintains business applications, websites and reporting for all business units and subsidiaries across Connells Group.
IT Solutions & Development comprises of the following key areas:
1. Application Development
2. Online Development
3. Data Development
4. Business Solutions
Key Responsibilities:
5. Coordinating and implementing testing to ensure products / changes are suitable for deployment
6. Executing tests within agreed timescales and release schedules
7. Provide test estimates based on change specifications
8. Write test plans as needed for projects where warranted
9. Logging of defects found and providing feedback against user stories for developers to review
10. Following agreed standards and best practices
11. Actively and positively contribute to meetings for document reviews and during the test cycle
12. Work as part of development teams to add a quality assurance aspect to all discussions
13. Work alongside other Test Analysts on projects where necessary
Experience & skills:
Essential
14. Proven ability to test complex systems
15. Experience of testing websites
16. Good written and verbal communication skills
17. Team working mentality
18. Willingness to learn new test technology
19. Ability to work under pressure
Highly Desirable
20. Ability to interrogate databases using SQL
21. Experience of testing feeds to external parties
22. Experience of automated testing

23. Experience of Microsoft Azure DevOps
24. Testing qualifications such as ISEB Foundation
