We are looking for a special person for a Deputy Manager position for our lovely 56 place nursery. You would be working with an experienced longstanding staff team.

Key Responsibilities
* To support the Manager in managing and developing the services of the Nursery with a focus on creating and maintaining a quality environment and experience for the children, families, and the staff team.
* To work alongside the Nursery Manager and Nursery Administrator to manage the team.
* To play an active role in the recruitment and selection of all staff.
* To liaise with external agencies.
* To carry out six weekly supervisions with team members and to set and monitor action plans.
* Ensure the Nursery is compliant with all health and safety and EYFS Welfare Requirements.
* Carry out staff observations and organise any support/training as required.
* Interact professionally, responding to requests for information and services promptly.

Discovery Day Nursery is a friendly and welcoming nursery situated in Worthing. The day nursery is close to the parks, town centre, library, museum, and the sea, which offers children a variety of areas for discovery. We pride ourselves in offering children time and space to explore, experiment and develop at their own pace.

Job Requirements
We require a Deputy Manager with +3 years of experience and a minimum qualification of Level 3 or equivalent in Childcare and Education.
The offered salary will be based on experience.
