MPFT are delighted to offer the opportunity to work as a Consultant Psychologist within The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust's Pain Management Service. This service is integral to patient recovery, functioning as a key element of perioperative care, non-surgical treatment pathways, and complex rehabilitation. The Consultant Psychologist will be a valued and integral member of the multidisciplinary team.
The service are seeking an enthusiastic clinician with experience in leadership, service innovation, and multidisciplinary collaboration, who is committed to high-quality care.
In the role you will be well supported by MPFT's large network of Psychologists and psychological practitioners, and in particular you will join a growing group of Psychologists in the Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin Care Group working into physical health settings.

Main duties
* Leadership and delivery of specialist psychological input into the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital (RJAH) Complex Pain service.
* To carry a highly specialist clinical caseload of clients with complex and enduring chronic pain.
* Provision of professional advice and consultation regarding psychological practice in relation to the management of complex pain.
* To provide clinical supervision and support to Pain Management multi-disciplinary health professionals.
* Development and delivery of research, audit and service evaluation programmes within the field of complex pain management.
