Are you passionate about creating a safe and inclusive workplace? We're looking for an enthusiastic Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to join our Facilities Management and Real Estate team in Broughton, North Wales.
What You'll Do:
1. Champion Safety: Lead the charge in ensuring top-notch safety standards across our operations and service providers.
2. Risk Management: Support the local team in implementing effective risk controls and maintaining compliance with new and existing equipment.
3. Contractor Oversight: Review safety management systems of prospective contractors during the pre-qualification process.
4. Inspections & Audits: Conduct EHS inspections and compliance audits, ensuring adherence to legal requirements like CDM Regulations 2015 and the Building Safety Act.
5. Incident Management: Report, investigate, and implement corrective actions for work-related incidents.
6. Strategic Advice: Provide expert EHS advice for strategic projects, from feasibility to design reviews.
7. Promote Safety Culture: Drive EHS initiatives, including safety reviews, KPI reporting, training, awareness campaigns, and inductions.
What We're Looking For:
8. Qualifications: NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent (minimum).
9. Experience: Proven track record in implementing safety projects in dynamic environments, formal risk assessment, and auditing techniques.
10. Facilities Management: Relevant experience in facilities management, including construction and maintenance.
11. Team Player: A proactive, positive attitude with the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
12. Professional Development: Commitment to continuous professional growth, ideally with membership in a professional body like IOSH.
