Job Title: Pharmacy Technician / Quality Assurance Pharmacist - Aseptic Unit (Band 5-7) Location: Canterbury, Kent Salary: Band 5-7 (dependent on experience) Contract Type: Locum / Fixed Term (18 August January 2026) Hours: Full-time About the Role We are seeking a Quality Assurance Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician. This role will be responsible for revalidating the aseptic unit that provides in-house chemotherapy and supports clinical trials. We welcome applications from Band 5, 6, or 7 candidates with relevant experience. Key Responsibilities: Lead the revalidation process for the aseptic unit Ensure compliance with MHRA, GMP, and other relevant quality standards Oversee aseptic preparation processes for chemotherapy and clinical trials Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to maintain patient safety and service efficiency Provide quality assurance support and advice to pharmacy staff Requirements: GPhC registration as a Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician Previous experience in quality assurance within an aseptic or oncology pharmacy environment Strong knowledge of GMP and quality control procedures Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Contract Details: Start Date: 18 August 2025 End Date: 2 January 2026 Location: Canterbury.
