IT Support Engineer (2nd Line) – Boston, Lincolnshire
Pilgrim Foodservice is looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our internal IT team supporting users across the business. This is a hands‑on 2nd line support role suited to someone confident troubleshooting more complex technical issues while remaining user‑focused and proactive.
Full‑time, 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:00. Weekend on‑call rota required (1 in 3).
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 2nd line IT support across the business
* Act as an escalation point for 1st line support
* Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
* Support Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
* Monitor systems and carry out routine maintenance
* Support user devices, accounts, and access management
* Assist with IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a 2nd line IT support role
* Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows, Microsoft 365, Azure, and networking
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
