About the Role
We are seeking a Lifestyle Coordinator to help residents live rewarding, engaging, and fulfilling lives by meeting their needs in terms of the Mind, Body, and Soul.
Your responsibilities include supporting the planning, creation, and delivery of a welcoming, home-based Lifestyle Programme. This programme encourages residents to participate in a variety of activities, tailored to their interests and abilities, as part of our group-wide 'More...' Programme. The focus is on meeting resident needs creatively and consistently, adapting to varying physical and mental abilities.
About You:
We provide comprehensive training, so we welcome candidates from all backgrounds. The key qualities we seek are organization, excellent communication skills, and flexibility to work shifts. We are committed to supporting your career development, potentially towards roles such as Nurse Associate. Please note, shifts are scheduled on a rota basis across a 7-day period, including weekends.
Knowledge / Experience:
* An understanding of the role social interaction plays in wellbeing.
* Ability to assist in delivering lifestyle sessions both in groups and individually.
* Ability to develop community links and deliver successful events.
* Flexibility to cover various responsibilities at short notice.
* Ability to support the implementation of new concepts and ideas.
* Potential to develop through Lifestyle / Activities training and qualifications.
