The Role
* Provide technical assistance to Highway Operation teams
* Contribute to the delivery of effective highway works through tasks as assigned by the Area Manager and identified through target setting and monitoring, performance appraisal and development and training
* Management interrogation and co‑ordination of complex databases and spreadsheets
* Production of presentation quality maps, plans and technical drawings
* Contribute to the data collection to develop the revenue and capital scheme delivery
* Organise, prepare and implement permanent and temporary Traffic Regulation Orders as assigned

* Have strong analytical skills
* Be an excellent communicator
* Have good decision‑making skills
* Be able to prioritise and organise their own workload as well as being able to work well within a busy team environment.
