We’re delighted to be supporting a Northampton-based organisation in their search for a hands-on Finance Manager to join their team. Working closely with the Finance Director, this is a varied role where you’ll play a key part in managing day-to-day finance operations, supporting wider business objectives, and leading a small team. Key Responsibilities: Reporting to the Finance Director, duties will include: * Support the Finance Director with the preparation of monthly management accounts * Produce cashflow forecasts and assist with the annual budget process * Post journals, complete reconciliations, and ensure accuracy across ledgers * Oversee the smooth running of the purchase ledger, sales ledger, payroll, and banking * Identify and implement improvements to processes and systems for greater efficiency * Provide clear and timely financial information to support operational decision-making * Lead, coach, and support a small finance team to deliver a reliable service * Assist with statutory returns, audit preparation, and ad hoc finance projects The Candidate: This opportunity will suit someone who enjoys being involved in the detail while also supporting a team.
