Delivery Postie with Driving – Job Reference 336402
Location: Chatham Delivery Office, ME4 4AA. Job type: Permanent contract. Hours: 30 hours per week, working Monday‑Sunday, 7 am to 3 pm or 2 pm until 9 pm. Weekend work on a rota basis may be required.
The role involves delivering parcels and related items to local communities, providing friendly service and ensuring a fair, reliable experience for customers.
Responsibilities
* Deliver parcels and other items to local communities.
* Provide friendly customer service at delivery points.
* Ensure timely collection and dispatch of mail.
Qualifications
* Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated.
* Organised, punctual and ready to deliver great customer service.
* Think of yourself as a people‑person and a friendly face in the community.
* Happy walking for long periods and working outside in any weather.
* Has a strong sense of community and takes pride in what you do.
* Has a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.

* A guaranteed hourly rate of £13.06 per hour (paid monthly and adjusted to your working hours).
* Paid overtime, with an enhanced rate of 1.25× for any hours worked over 40 hours a week.
