Responsibilities
* Assist the General Medicine Therapy Team Lead as lead clinician and Deputy Team Lead, supporting the organisation, coordination, delivery and evaluation of the therapy service on Sheldon ward.
* Provide clinical leadership to all members of the therapy team.
* Take a lead role in the advanced assessment and treatment of general medicine patients with varied and often complex presentations and comorbidities.
* Determine clinical diagnosis, develop and implement effective treatment plans.
* Undertake a clinical caseload and treat to a high professional standard using specialist knowledge from theoretical and practical experience to patients with complex physical and psychological conditions.
* Deputise for the General Medicine Therapy Team Lead in their absence.
Key Information
Part‑time role, working Thursday and Friday; hours can be discussed.
Qualifications & Experience
* Registered Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist.
* Relevant NHS work experience.
* Excellent team‑working skills to lead and collaborate with the multi‑disciplinary team.
* Flexibility in approach, supporting collaboration across the service.
