Senior Legal Counsel – Infrastructure, Transport and Renewables Location: London (Hybrid working) Salary: £120,000 – £130,000 benefits The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced projects and infrastructure lawyer to join a leading UK energy and infrastructure business as Senior Legal Counsel. This is a high-profile role supporting major infrastructure, transport and renewable energy projects, including offshore wind, solar and hydrogen developments. Key Responsibilities Provide legal advice across the full lifecycle of large-scale infrastructure and energy projects Draft, review and negotiate EPC, O&M and related commercial contracts Support on PPP/PFI projects and other concession agreements Advise on project development matters including land, planning and regulatory aspects Assist with large-scale infrastructure financings and liaise with external counsel as required Work closely with commercial, engineering and finance teams to deliver projects on time and within budget Manage external legal advisers effectively and ensure value for money Contribute to legal team know-how, templates and best practice guidance About You UK-qualified solicitor with around 5–10 years’ PQE Trained private practice with subsequent in-house experience in the infrastructure, energy or renewables sector Strong track record in EPC, O&M and project development contracts Experience with PPP/PFI and project financing structures Knowledge of regulatory issues relating to energy and renewables an advantage Commercially minded, pragmatic, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, project-driven environment Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams Why Join Work on nationally significant projects in energy transition, transport and infrastructure Exposure to innovative renewable technologies and major development programmes Hybrid working with flexibility and a supportive team culture Competitive salary and benefits package
