EYFS Teaching Assistant (Full Time)
Location: Blackburn (BB1)
Start Date: After May Half Term
Contract: Temporary – Until End of Summer Term
Hours: Full Time
A friendly and nurturing primary school in the BB1 area of Blackburn is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team after the May half term, continuing through to the end of the summer term.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive Early Years setting where children are encouraged to explore, develop and thrive in a stimulating learning environment.
The Role:
* Support teaching and learning within the EYFS classroom
* Work with small groups and individual pupils
* Assist with phonics, early maths and communication & language development
* Support continuous provision and child-led learning
* Help create a safe, engaging and inclusive classroom environment
* Observe and contribute to assessments of pupil progress
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have experience working within an EYFS setting
* Hold a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
* Have a strong understanding of the Early Years Framework
* Be nurturing, patient and enthusiastic
* Work effectively as part of a team
* Demonstrate strong communication skills
