Global Category Manager - Hard FM - £65,000 to £75,000 | 10% bonus, company car + full corporate benefits | Based out of London, Warwickshire or Hampshire
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a market-leading, truly global business with diverse operations.
They are looking for an experienced Category Manager, with extensive Hard FM spend experience, focusing on managing large-value and complex projects.
The group function is undergoing an exciting transformation, expanding its scope and offering continuous progression opportunities.
Role and responsibilities:
* Report to the Head of Global Procurement - Facilities Management, within a team of colleagues at various levels
* Develop, design, and continuously improve category strategies
* Conduct end-to-end sourcing within designated spend areas using a strategic approach
* Collaborate with senior business leaders to develop category strategies and planning
* Provide ongoing advice to stakeholders on market trends, innovations, and supplier market knowledge
* Manage and understand both regulated and unregulated complex projects
* Ensure strategic procurement delivers the best commercial value for the business
* Extensive experience in category management, particularly in Hard FM
* Proven strategic category management in a large, complex organization
* Demonstrated ability to deliver savings in a similar-sized business
* Ability to engage, negotiate, and influence senior stakeholders up to Board Level
* Strong stakeholder management skills, adapting approaches based on relationship maturity
* Experience working in a large, cross-functional procurement team
* MCIPS qualification is desirable but not essential
