As a SEND Primary Teacher, your responsibilities will include: Planning and delivering personalised, engaging lessons adapted to meet the varied needs of SEND pupils. Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom atmosphere. Assessing and monitoring individual pupil progress and adapting strategies to maximise learning outcomes. Collaborating closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, parents, and external professionals to support holistic pupil development. Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing within the school community. To be successful in this role of SEND Primary Teacher, you should: Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Have experience teaching pupils with SEND in a primary school setting. Demonstrate strong knowledge of SEND teaching strategies and relevant curriculum adaptations. Be patient, creative, and committed to fostering inclusive learning. Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
