Bristol and Edinburgh - Starting from £59,850 HOURS: Full-time WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites About This Opportunity The team is responsible for shaping and driving the execution of the Divisional-level Investment Portfolio for Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB). As part of this, we work closely with key Product, Coverage and Platform leaders, Investment Management and Finance to build, manage, deliver and report on a portfolio of initiatives, ensuring that they achieve our customer & shareholder commitments. We have developed a clear, well-defined growth strategy through to 2030 to achieve our vision to be the go-to UK bank for Debt, Cash and Risk. We’ll invest significantly in both technology and people to grow our franchise in a sustainable way. CIB’s plans will centre on a purpose-aligned sector focus and in delivering seamless digital experiences for our Corporate & Institutional clients. This role will work closely with our Product, Coverage and Platform teams to support the delivery of the 2030 North Star by ensuring a strong linkage between our investment, delivery, benefits and value drivers to support effective decision making to achieve our stated customer, financial and risk outcomes. About the role We’re looking for a self-motivated and proactive Strategic Portfolio Manager who can help deliver our ambitious strategy, aligned to our Purpose of Helping Britain Prosper. What you’ll be doing: Supporting overall delivery of the CIB strategic portfolio through working closely with Product, Coverage, Platform, Finance and Investment Management teams Shaping the CIB investment portfolio strategy aligned with CIB’s North Star strategic direction through analysis of pain points and opportunities for growth, efficiency opportunities and improved ways of working Defining what resources and capabilities CIB will require to unlock the next stage of our ambitious growth strategy Supporting CIB’s North Star productivity ambitions including our use of AI & Robotic Process Automation to unlock capacity and drive further growth Why Lloyds Banking Group? What we need from you: A strategic thinker, who can assimilate information into clear and precise recommendations and stories Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues at all levels of the organisation Strong financial acumen, with the ability to join the dots Track record in delivering projects/propositions efficiently and collaborating with cross-functional teams Demonstrate strong Excel and PowerPoint skills to undertake valuable analysis and present findings to senior audiences clearly and concisely Commercially minded, with good understanding of business drivers of performance Comfortable managing ambiguity while prioritising multiple priorities and identifying key risks, dependencies and mitigations Exposure to skills from multiple subject areas such as operating model design, digital delivery, portfolio management Knowledge of Commercial Banking / CIB products / COO / CIB / AI platforms is preferable, but not essential About working for us!
