The Opportunity We have an exciting and engaging position for a PMO Analyst to join our P3M function supporting our Defence business unit. As part of the PMO team, you will be an integral part of driving the balance between the needs of the customer and delivering strong financial and delivery performance for the Business Unit. You will achieve this by simplifying and standardising business processes; improving the accuracy and predictability of forecasts; increasing the responsiveness of operations to an ever-changing commercial landscape; and applying the relevant controls to ensure consistently successful delivery. The Key Responsibilities Providing P3M services including, maintaining schedules and plans; financial monitoring; decision-support; benefits tracking; maintaining risks, actions, issues and change registers; dependency management; document management; supporting communication mechanisms; and information management. Co-ordinating the production of reports to support governance, by collating, analysing, evaluating, and manipulating data, records, and other information. Maintaining libraries, registers, and systems. Providing education, training and first line support on the agreed P3M procedures, processes, and tools. Supporting senior management in championing and embedding P3M practices across the organisation. Undertaking the role of service manager for one or more P3M services for the organisation. Why We Want You Education and Qualifications: Appropriate P3M qualifications (P3O, APM, MoP, MSP, Prince2) would be desirable Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Proactive approach and ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders Experience working within a busy PMO or Project Delivery environment Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools such as Excel, SharePoint, PowerBI and PowerPoint is required. Awareness of Lean Six Sigma continuous process improvement tools and techniques is desirable. A working knowledge of IFS, Dayforce & Profinda would be desirable.
